SANDIE WYLES:  In the 80s Sandie played in trailblazing Aberdeen ceilidh bands. More recently pursuing a solo career as a top ranked solo singer-songwriter whose Americana inflected songs are critically acclaimed. Played in trailblazing ceilidh bands Reel Aliens and Mabel Meldrums.  In Dusty Lights, Sandie brings her fiddle playing and singing to the fore.

DAVE FRANCIS:  Dave played with the other Dusty Lights in souped-up ceilidh bands the Reel Aliens and ceilidh rockers Desperate Danz Band back in the 80s. A founder of The Cast, the multi-talented Scottish duo, whose albums have attracted generous critical worldwide acclaim.

KENNY KEMP: Back in the day, Kenny took fiddle lessons from the legendary Bill Hardie in Aberdeen and in Dusty Lights he also sings and plays a variety of stringed instruments. Played with Dave and Sandie in the Reel Aliens, then Captain Swing ceilidh band, before joining the Dusties.

JOHN CARNIE:  Author of the Scottish Guitar Tutor Book, John played with Dave Francis in electric ceilidh rockers Desperate Danz Band. He mixes folk, blues & jazz styles and his 'Far From Home' album was hailed by Scotland on Sunday as  "An exposition of fleet-fingered flatpicking".
